Online Emergency Broadcast System

It is the goal of the Regional Emergency Management Organization serving the Municipalities of Lunenburg and Chester and Towns of Mahone Bay and Bridgewater that this website serve as both a resource centre as well as a communications tool related to Emergency Management.

Content will be added on a regular basis or when available and new features implemented based on identified needs.

The Online Emergency Broadcast feature will allow REMO staff to communicate to residents during times of emergency using audio broadcasts, keeping citizens informed and up-to-date. This will further compliment existing media and communication procedures.

When there is an audio broadcast available, the icon on the pages will change from the static symbol to the animated version shown below on the right.
